MARC (Mobile Area Resource Centre)

Bolwarra Primary School is part of a MARC (Mobile Area Resource Centre) cluster of schools, providing students with weekly access to high-quality specialist Library and Visual Arts programs. These sessions are delivered with a strong literacy focus, linking reading, viewing and responding to art concepts, knowledge and skills. Through the mobile library service, students can borrow a wide selection of picture books, fiction and non-fiction. The MARC program supports and connects with local community events, including the Tyrendarra Show, the Portland Music Festival and the Upwelling Festival.
