Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Bolwarra Primary School. It is a privilege to be the Principal of this wonderful school and to work alongside such a supportive and engaged school community.

Bolwarra Primary School is located in the heart of Bolwarra and is set on spacious, vibrant grounds that provide a safe and inclusive environment for all our students. We are proud of our welcoming culture, where every child is encouraged to feel valued, supported and included.

Our students learn in an engaging, positive and challenging environment where they are encouraged to believe in themselves, strive for their goals and develop a strong sense of belonging. We value our strong connections with families and the wider community, recognising that family plays a vital role in their child’s education.

We have placed a strong emphasis on building solid foundations in Literacy and Numeracy through evidence-based teaching practices, rich learning resources and explicit instruction. Our dedicated staff work collaboratively within our school setting to provide high-quality and engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of every student. We also have a strong focus on wellbeing, which is supported by our Wellbeing Team; consisting of a Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHIPS) professional, Inclusion Leader, School Chaplain and a part-time speech pathologist.
