Child Safety at Bolwarra Primary School
Bolwarra Primary School is a child safe organisation that welcomes all children, young people and their families. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued, respected and heard.
Our child safe policies, strategies and practices are inclusive of the diverse needs of all children. We have zero tolerance for child abuse and will take proactive steps to identify and manage any risks of harm within our school environment. All child safety concerns are treated seriously and responded to promptly and thoroughly.
Inappropriate or harmful behaviour, including racism or discrimination directed towards students, will not be tolerated at Bolwarra Primary School and will be addressed in line with our policies and procedures.
Child safety is a shared responsibility. Everyone in our school community—staff, students, families and volunteers—has an important role to play in promoting child safety and wellbeing and in raising any concerns about a child’s safety.
We are committed to regularly reviewing and strengthening our child safe practices and actively seek feedback from students, families, staff and volunteers to inform our ongoing improvement.
