Numeracy (Maths)

At Bolwarra Primary School, we are committed to building confident and capable mathematicians. In every classroom, concepts are explicitly taught in a supportive and safe learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks. We ensure children are given the time they need to understand and master new concepts before moving on. A wide range of hands-on, concrete materials helps students make sense of their learning and see maths in action. For students who need additional support, we provide small group and one-on-one tutoring to ensure every child can experience success and grow in confidence.
